NOTICES:

• The Village Hall Committee requires volunteers to assist in 2025 as Duty Officers.
  The role is primarily to meet and greet one-off hirers to the Hall and to explain the workings of the Hall prior to the Hirer’s event, so that the event takes place to the satisfaction of the Hirer. If you have a couple of hours to spare in the week(s) you volunteer and would like more information, please email peterrmkeller@gmail.com
• The Village Hall Committee is looking for someone with basic I.T. skills who lives in Baldwins Gate/Whitmore to help maintain our website. If you can help please email whitmorevillagehall@outlook.com. Many thanks! (N.B. This is a volunteer/unpaid role & takes less than 5 minutes per month to keep everything in order.)
• The Annual General Meeting of the Whitmore and District Village Hall will take place on Thursday November 21st at 7pm. All are welcome to attend.

About Whitmore Village Hall

Since its opening in 1959 the Village Hall has been at the heart and centre of the community. The Committee’s aim is to provide first class facilities and we are always eager to encourage new users. We would particularly like to offer activities for young people but also to introduce local people to existing regular groups (Click here to find out more about our regular events and clubs).

In addition, the Village Hall is available for hire for occasional events such as wedding receptions, wedding anniversaries, birthdays, charity fund raising, drama, musical evenings, resident groups and public meetings (click here to find out about our facilities and click here for information on how to hire the Village Hall).
